چکیده

Background/Aim. Increasingly evidence showed that high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) is a reliable biomarker in patients with hypertension. While the relationship between hypertension and age well established, connection hs-CRP remains unclear. The aim of study was to determine middle-aged people. Methods. This crosssectional survey conducted Shanghai, China, included data from 1,677 healthy male participants aged 18 50 years 1,127 female 19 49 years, who were recruited during routine health examinations. hs-CRP, body mass index (BMI), systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic (DBP) recorded. Results. first separated into four quartile groups, an increase BMI, SBP, DBP observed, but not hs-CRP. Next, divided groups noted, age. Finally, using Pearson correlation, positive correlations found DBP, no correlation seen Conclusion. authors likely confounding factor has it does have direct

Association of Serum Total Bilirubin with Serum High Sensitivity C-reactive Protein in Middle-aged Men

BACKGROUND It has been suggested that bilirubin has an inverse association with cardiovascular disease (CVD) due to its antioxidant properties. However, there are few data regarding the relationship between serum total bilirubin (sTB) and risk factors for CVD in Koreans. This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between sTB and high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP), which is an indepe...

Investigating relationship between C- reactive protein and obesity in adults

Introduction: Association between plasma high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (CRP) concentrations and cardiovascular disease has been Investigated. C-reactive protein (CRP) is an acute phase reactant which is a marker of inflammation in the body. CRP is made by the liver in response to inflammatory cytokines such as interleukin-6 (IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNFα). Adipose ti...

Association between fasting insulin and high-sensitivity C reactive protein in Korean adults

BACKGROUND High-sensitivity C reactive protein (hs-CRP) is a reliable indicator of atherosclerotic diseases and is associated with hyperinsulinaemia. The purpose of this study is to examine the association between hs-CRP and fasting insulin levels in Korean adults not taking medication for hypertension, dyslipidaemia or diabetes, nor provided with specific dietary advice. METHODS This cross-s...

The Effect of Resistance Training on Levels of Interlukine-6 and High-Sensitivity C - reactive protein in Older-Aged Women

Introduction: Aging is associated with elevated levels of some proinflammatory factors and exercise is a non-invasive intervention to improve immune function among older adults .The aim of the study was to compare resistance training effects on interlukine-6 (IL-6) and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) levels in older-aged women. Methods: The study was quasi-experimental and for...

A cross-sectional study on serum high-sensitivity C-reactive protein level and shift work among reproductive age women

Background: Among the inflammatory factors, high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) is one of the strongest predictors of cardiovascular disease. This study aimed to evaluate the relationship of serum hs-CRP level with shift work among reproductive age women. Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted from September 2017 to May 2018 in three cities in Mazandaran Province, North of ...
